Sergio Germano is a true oenophile and as well as making fantastic Piemontese wines, he also loves to experiment with grapes he loves from elsewhere. He produces Riesling, Syrah, and a sparkling Pinot Noir/Chardonnay and the latest addition- a sparkling Nebbiolo rosé. 2011 is the second vintage of this wine produced by méthode classique from a 0.5ha vineyard in Serralunga and is a delicious and interesting alternative to rosé champagne.
